This session will provide advice on traps to avoid when dealing with defective leases. It will explore applications to first tier tribunal to remedy defective leases using the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 and Section 57 of the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993. It will also examine other methods of varying residential leases.
